Webtest a reliable method for mechanical characterization of functional thin film and thin film structures. The current work takes the above mentioned advantages of the pressure bulge test for thin film characterizations. Single layer free-standing thin films of Si3N4 are tested. Multilayered functional PBT/Si3N4 thin film structure is also tested.
