WebAug 23, 2024 · My observation is that as soon as you add your first non-floating object on a blank dashboard (e.g. a text box, a new sheet, a new layout container, etc.), Tableau automatically creates an overarching Tiled container that adds these 8 pixels of white space from the edges of your working space to your visualisations.
