WebbWe describe the efforts of a private practice physical therapy (PT) clinic to reduce these barriers by offering a door-to-door van service at no cost to patients. Methods : Clinic records and national census databases were retrospectively reviewed to explore the impact of offering no-cost van rides to patients attending outpatient PT appointments. WebbOutpatient Transportation Program Guidelines: Patients are scheduled based on need and a first-come, first-served basis. There is a round trip fee of $6 per patient, payable to the driver each day of transport. Patients need to be ready at the scheduled pick-up time. Drivers are NOT allowed to enter patient homes.
