I was always ending up with uneven walls, over-extrusion on the edges, under extrusion at the beginning of a layer, LOTS of stringing on PETG, etc. Here is a Calibration Cube print. WebDec 22, 2024 · In CURA 5 I think "Fill gaps between walls" is always set to "on" and "Filter out tiny gaps" set to "off" & both options have been removed from print settings. However I would really like them added back and be be able to choose like I did in previous versions of CURA whether or not I want to fill or not to fill small gaps.

I'm worried this will hurt my printer. the print head basically vibrates for thin infill between the walls. Simplify3D has an option called "Allow Single Extrusion Infill". it basically turns those thin walls into a single extrusion line.
