The 65s have smooth highs, tight bass, and a lot of upper-mid emphasis. They're both great speakers, and I don't think you can go wrong with either, but for your purposes I think the 75s have an edge. The biggest issue in a 2x12 is the H mag speakers will overpower the M mag speakers due to the spl/db difference. the H mags are 100db, and the M mags are 96/97/98 db.
