It is a poorly specific tumour marker and can be up with inflammation. It's all dependent on that first ultrasound, it if really showed nothing on the ovaries then I wouldn't have done a ca125. WebFirst of all, the actual uterus and tubes do not show up on x-ray – only the contrast fluid shows up, so you would not see fibroids or ovarian cysts.
